Reasons I love living here

  • I've (re)discovered people come in more than one shade.
  • Often the people around me are actually in the same amount of hurry as I'm in.
  • The restaurants serve food that I could not prepare myself, and they usually don't give me portions fit for a rhinoceros.
  • Almost all my friends and relatives I've spoken to recently want to come visit (the place, not just me), and they can do so any time of year.
  • In a typical day, I don't pass any McDonald's restaurants.
  • I'm not going to need or want air conditioning for the next two years.
  • I could fit a body into the recycling bins we get. I'm just saying they're big.
  • Today was the first day I had to put gas in my car since filling up in Benicia, CA (near SF), on the move down here three weeks ago.

Umm, say no more. I'm coming there so that we can open our yoga/book/coffee/knitting boutique.
